Shakespeare wrote that "time goes very slow for those who wait. Very fast for those who are scared. Very long for those who lament. Very short for those who celebrate. But for those who love, time is eternal."

I know several people who will look back at tremendous year of accomplishments, myself included. But there are those of you who simply are thankful you took each day at a time. Things don't always turn out as you planned, or the way you think they should. Things can go wrong that don't always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. Some broken things stay broken. But if you feel broken or think you have a broken heart, you are NOT broken. If you can still get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, your life is not broken.

It may be broken dreams, but not a broken future.

I wish for you to seize loveliness. It has always been yours. Know this, you can be content with small steps. That's all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road, it all adds up and you know you covered some distance. It is very true. You just need to wait. Have patience. Be still. Nothing protects the heart like patience. You don't get your hopes too fast and you don't let fear speak too loud.

For me, what a year. I have a truly incredible life. I could count every moment with a smile that stretches from ear to ear. If life is repeated a thousand times, still mine, mine, and again, mine. I wish you to look back upon yours and share the same sentiment. Thank you 2024, I totally rocked those 366 days.

So as this year closes, my wish for you is to create a new chapter with the best for YOU. This is the beginning of anything you want. Happy New Dreams. Happy New Days. Happy New Desires. Happy New Ways. Happy New Year. Happy New You. I hope somewhere in this new year, you surprise yourself!
